SSR is a mixture of proprietary, patented chemical's, and Standox base coat paint.

Single scratches can be repaired between 30 seconds and 10 minutes. Bonnets can be repaired in around 15 to 20 minutes, and a complete "walk-around" of a vehicle with scratches on every panel in around 1 to 1 1/2 hours.

When doing demos, the answer to this question is, "I'll talk you through it now, then you can do the repair yourself". We've had several people take up this challenge, and guess what? Every one of them have completed the repair.

When it comes to "totally peppered" bonnets, SSR is totally unrivalled! The results can only be described as breathtaking. I've repaired many of otherwise unsalvageable bonnets and SSR never fails to impress me! Every time!

SSR is fine on silver. You certainly have to be pretty close with the colour, but yes, SSR will repair silver, again depending on the width and depth of the damage.

Apparently, whites are a difficult; well maybe difficult is the wrong word. Whites are a "different kettle of fish altogether". The base of the scratch must be very, very, very clean prior to applying SSR. Did I mention to clean the base of the scratch? We are actually working on a new cleaning agent right now

When using SSR, exact colour match is not essential. It's all done by the eye, selecting a colour that is slightly darker if the panel is dark or slightly lighter if the panel is light.

SSR black is probably the most versatile colour we have; it can be used to repair any black, dark blue, dark red, dark green, burgundy, maroon etc. Amazing isn't it?

The shelf life of SSR products has yet to be determined, but we know it's at least 7 years and counting.

Apart from all that is mentioned later on, you get access to 16 years of research and development, a product that you can invest in from only Â£1,795 with a potential return of over Â£1,500 per bottle!

And, this is important so take notice, "The best paint touch up product you'll ever find".

No you can't. SSR is for professional use only!

However, once you become a certified SSR technician you can buy as much paint and polish as you like.

SSR is unique in that it has no direct competition. There are other ways of treating the scratch, but they cost more, take longer and there's always the potential the repair could go wrong and cost you more again.

With SSR you can't go wrong, no possibility of overspray, very little chance you could break through the clear coat to the base coat.

If there are any problems, SSR can be removed easily with a wipe of thinners. Get a spray job wrong and you have to flat the whole repair down, often ending up with a larger area that needs fixing and a bigger problem than you had in the first place., which can be costly.
